 Job description / tasks involved :

Ongoing, in decreasing order of time spent :

  • Accounts receivable management :
    o Debt collections and credit insurance coverage management
    o Invoicing
    o Payments capture by check (lettering and bank deposit) or credit card
  • Checking inventory for BtoB clients (multi-brand retailers) and entering orders
  • Liaison between US and Canada BtoB clients, sales reps and French team / warehouse
  • Shipments tracking
  • Assessing new BtoB client/prospect requests and coordinating with appropriate sales representative
  • Providing support for BtoB customer marketing needs (providing pictures, catalogs…)
  • Office management : receiving UPS deliveries and ordering necessary office supplies
  • Managing press inventory based on press loans, scheduling messengers, following up return of samples

Seasonally (twice a year, in January and July) :

  • Samples management : donation of samples at the end of each season, coordination with e commerce inventory
  • Showroom set-up : reception and set-up of seasonal samples, labeling with prices and line sheet page numbers, merchandising by color groups, steaming, etc
  • Sample sale organization at the showroom : samples, inventory, payments.

 Profile :

  • Must speak and write in excellent English and French to properly take care of our US and Canada (Quebec) clients – interview will be conducted in both English and French
  • Very rigorous mindset, must be well organized and process-oriented
  • Genuine sensitivity to – if not experience in – fashion, merchandising, and to a French heritage brand’s legacy
  • Can-do, problem-solving, hands-on attitude ; will need to take initiatives to go the extra mile to help customers and sales representatives
  • Understanding of the constraints and team spirit of a small business : we all do a bit of everything, and no task is below anyone’s ego
  • Great salesmanship : empathy, drive, finesse, listening skills, ability to kindly handle difficult contacts with patience
  • Experience in bookkeeping a plus
